Wisconsin-based wristband manufacturer Artemax, Inc. had its newest product, JetBands™, added to Walmart shelves across the country last month. JetBands™ gives consumers the ability to design and print their own custom wristbands using any inkjet printer.

Artemax was one of 500+ businesses from 47 states across the U.S. to present their “made in the USA” products at Walmart’s 2017 “Fourth Annual U.S. Manufacturing Open Call” at Walmart’s home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The event is part of Walmart’s investment in communities and job growth through its 10 year $250 billion commitment to American manufacturing. Artemax was one of nearly 100 companies to receive a deal on the spot. As of April 2018, JetBands™, as well as packages of 100 count ID wristbands made of Tyvek®, can be found in nearly 3,000 Walmart stores nationwide on shelves in the office supplies area.

“We are thrilled to have our products selected by Walmart at their Open Call. The consumer- customizable JetBands™ stood out as an innovative product that appealed to Walmart’s buyers immediately as did the packages of identification wristbands. We are proud to be recognized by Walmart for our wristband products that we have produced in the USA for more than twenty years,” said Bryan Waltersdorf, president of Artemax.

“American entrepreneurship is on full display during Open Call,” added Cindi Marsiglio, Walmart vice president, U.S. Manufacturing. Marsiglio said investments in U.S. manufacturing are important to not only job growth but product innovation.

Founded in 1995 and currently employing 110 people, Artemax is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of identification wristbands in the world.
