The Shipping Associate II is responsible for enforcing procedures and processes for production associates involved in pick/pack/ship, unloading and loading trucks, stocking shelves, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping the area clean and organized.
- 1st Shift - 8:00am-4:30pm
- 2nd Shift - 4:30pm-12:30am
- Perform the shipping functions including:
- Receiving finished product, inspect, identify and put away, checking for accuracy of count and quality of products
- Receive and process outgoing materials, including checking packaging, labeling and shipping method to ensure quality and on time products

- Handle returns and exchanges by ensuring that reverse distribution processes are followed properly
- Oversee daily activities for all shipping and receiving personnel
- Ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
- Record and track items picked and shipped
- Operate the ERP system accurately
- Operate required entry into UPS and FedEx shipping software (Domestic and International)
- Quote, route and manage LTL shipments using approved 3PL
- Point of contact in Shipping for Sales and Customer Service Teams
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
- Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to shipping
- Assist in inventory counts
- Follow all safety codes
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
- Attend meeting as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness of your work area
- Daily clock in/out for shift and/or applicable breaks
- If all work is completed, please notify your manager
- Maintain good standing with company attendance policy and physically attend all shifts when scheduled; this position is not eligible for remote capabilities
- Report all accidents directly to Human Resources and follow all safety and hazard communication procedures
- Perform all other duties as directed by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Documentation, reporting, organization, mechanical aptitude, data-entry, telephone skills, customer relations, listening and verbal/written communication, multi-tasking, dependability and emotional control. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and regular attendance.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. WORKING ENNIRONMENT
Production environment, which will include constant noise throughout the day. Certain areas of production will require PPE of either hearing and/or eye protection. Environment will include odors and minor variances in temperatures. Production environment requires closed toe shoes, be conscious of work being performed and stay in walking paths whenever possible outside of assigned areas. All individuals must walk with their head up in all areas of the building, parking lot and grounds being conscious of moving vehicles, forklifts, and other potential hazards.
