POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, quality checking, processing and staging products based on order requirements, and keeping the area clean and organized.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process inbound materials and orders
- Process and Ship outbound orders
- Utilize ERP system for picking and stocking inventory, audit product locations
- Quote, route and manage LTL shipments
- Assist in inventory counts
- Adhere to all standard processes for Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in shipping within a high-volume environment is required. Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general communication. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, sales representatives, vendors, and production staff.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to count, number sequencing, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, hands or feet; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouch or crawl.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Production environment, which will include constant noise throughout the day. Certain areas of production will require PPE of either hearing and/or eye protection. Environment will include odors and minor variances in temperatures. Production environment requires closed toe shoes, be conscious of work being performed
and stay in walking paths whenever possible outside of assigned areas. All individuals must walk with their head up in all areas of the building, parking lot and grounds being conscious of moving vehicles, forklifts, and other potential hazards.
